What elemental dragon are you? brought to you by Quizilla I'm sensing a theme here..... Well, apart from that, my name's Meme (like "Me-me" rather than "Meem"). I have a soul-destroying 9-5 call centre job like most other graduates in Brighton but one day I'll go back to Uni. I live in a flat on a hill in Brighton all on my own but for my two African grass mice (zebra mice) Rufus and The Moon and the numerous seagulls that perch on the rooftops opposite. I've always said I don't like labeling myself so I won't, but if you want to know what I look like I have very long black hair, I am quite short and at the moment relatively thin. Emotional trauma is good for the waistline. I used to be a bit of a goth/hippy hybrid sort of thing style wise but now I have a "real job" and have to wear smart casual clothes all day, the rest of the time I usually can't be bothered and just wear jeans and t-shirts. I usually wear lots of dark eye make-up, which makes me look like some kind of emo teenager despite the fact I am 23. I see myself as quite a spiritual person, I know what I believe and how I see the world. Broadly speaking, my beliefs overlap with and are influenced by pantheism, witchcraft and various branches of paganism. I guess I'm kind of new-agey, but I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. I'd like to be able to write and I'd like to be able to play a few of the instruments I played when I was younger, but both require talent and practice, and I am crap and lazy. I generally relax by hanging out at one of the many local pubs in my area with my friends or chilling out at home. I love festivals and live music in general too. There is an equal chance of finding me cooking, making jewellery or walking in the countryside as there is playing computer games or watching sci-fi. I have many interests to keep myself occupied. My amibiton had always been to be a teacher until recently when leaving Uni became an immanent reality and I decided that I wasn't sure if I wanted to do that, and decided it might be better to arse around at Uni for a few more years. Of course that will cost lots of money so I'm putting it off for a year or two while I save some money. When I was a little girl I wanted to be a dragon when I grew up. Consequently, many childhood afternoons were spent many an afternoon strapping wings made out of blankets and umberellas to my back and jumping off the climbing frame. Bizarrly, I have never broken a limb. I keep this journal mostly as a way staying in touch with real life friends, it's mostly just a diary about things I've been up to in my day-to-day life and as such can be quite boring at time! I've been known to post poetry and other kinds of writing, but it is very rare. That said, if you do find my journal interesting or we share some interests or whatever and you want to friend me, go ahead. I do make quite a few friends only posts.
